STAFF WELLBEING FRAMEWORK

We bring clarity to wellbeing in the workplace using the evidence-based Staff Wellbeing Framework Model. This helps organisations incorporate all their wellbeing interventions into a single, tailorable framework.
The future of staff wellbeing today is a collaborative partnership between the individual and the organisation. However most wellbeing initiatives are still well-meaning failures because they do not authentically involve the people they are intended to 'fix'. Rather they are imposed upon a workforce often waiting to be made better by someone else creating ongoing institutionalisation.
By contrast, the evidence-led Staff Wellbeing Framework Model liberates staff across the organisation to take ownership of their own on-going wellbeing needs. Working with leadership, they assess and identify gaps in wellbeing provision and develop, implement and evaluate concepts and solutions that they identify as being right for them.
This high-trust approach, trackably evidenced in the accompanying Staff Wellbeing Framework Handbook, increases staff engagement organically and leads to a gradual shift in workplace culture.
'I include the following OFSTED quote which indicates how successful our work was, "Relationships between adults and children are strong and these are reinforced by a warm and welcoming environment."' Clare Swanepoel Mastery Specialist Teacher Hudson Road Primary School.

'Our work with Jane has led to increased individual commitment and sense of Team, critical in becoming more commercially competitive. We are already winning more business.' David Leonard MD Paper Dove Ltd.

HOW TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN A STAFF WELLBEING FRAMEWORK
Training to create an immediate and lasting difference to staff wellbeing in your organisation.

Staff wellbeing initiatives take various forms. Many are worthy and some are successful. Few are enduring or sustainable. Making staff wellbeing ‘happen’ or having to ‘do’ staff wellbeing is something that organisations are struggling with at the moment. But research undertaken by Dr Jane Anderson is showing that involving staff in their own wellbeing through the Staff Wellbeing Framework model has a significant impact on wellbeing ownership, distributed leadership, reflective practice - and productivity.
Using our unique Staff Wellbeing Framework Handbook you will learn how to:

quickly create a robust, tailored framework from which to hang all your current wellbeing initiatives
immediately begin recording and evidencing your wellbeing initiatives
ensure all staff feel included, respected and represented
feel secure in distributing wellbeing leadership amongst trusted staff
The Staff Wellbeing Framework enables people to make informed choices that represent the personal-professional wellbeing of their cohort, the staff. This collaborative approach increases staff engagement leading to a high-trust workplace and nascent culture shift.

OWN YOUR OWN WELLBEING

Learn how nobody can own it like you can!

Staff wellbeing is about more than muffins and mindfulness, although they’re nice. It’s about enabling people to understand and commit to their own role in their own health and personal-professional wellbeing. While organisations can offer external support with this, ultimately only the individual can make the internal choice to move towards becoming happier, con dent and more engaged.
However, the steps to wellbeing need to be discretionary, reasonable and most importantly, meaningful if they are to be believable and achievable by individuals and impactful for the organisation.
This course involves people in investigating key questions about their own wellbeing and contributes to nascent organisational culture shift. Re ective thinking about personal wellbeing will challenge assumptions about who should have responsibility for and control over workforce wellbeing.
Delegates discover valuable insight into their personal-professional wellbeing behaviour and construct tailored strategies for managing it. Participating in this training as a team creates a stronger collective emphasis. The benefits of examining ownership of individual wellbeing in a supportive, facilitated workplace environment are both immediate and enduring.

ENHANCING LEADERSHIP TEAM WELLBEING
Challenging and championing in the workplace
Research shows that many leadership teams are under-skilled and especially stressed by the people management aspect of their roles.

This two-part training event will develop senior leader confidence by enabling them to professionally acknowledge and manage the key aspects of staff performance, namely capability or culpability.
In part one leaders will learn how to depersonalise difficult staff interviews and conversations enabling both parties to participate more fully and be clear about goals going forward.
Part two considers routes to acknowledging staff commitment and discrete effort. Means of demonstrating appreciation and encouraging innovation, improvement and distributed leadership traits in everyone in school are taken into account.

PLANNING A HEALTHY WORK-FROM-HOME SPACE
Create a work station to meet your unique working needs

Right now, many people are working in a tiny, almost hidden world, often less than a metre square - eight hours a day, five days a week!

Small, cramped and inconvenient it might be, but there is a lot people can do with this space to enable it to better support both themselves and their work. On this course you will find out what that is, putting theory into practice and making micro-improvements as you learn.

Using Place Therapy and Action Learning you’ll implement the following learning as we go through the session.

• Hot-desking at home
• 5 sense stimuli and Sociospacial Reciprocity
• Distance and proxemics
• Personal style and Third Place
• Clutter and the Endowment Effect
• Clarity of purpose
• Space sharing
• Habits and convenience
• Errand Paralysis

Together we’ll up-skill your desk-designing abilities and turn your makeshift workspace into one that actually works for you.
Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss staff wellbeing solutions in your school not covered by the above interventions.
